Description

Named after the original settling family of McLaren Vale and it’s first homestead and establishment, Oxenberry Farm back in 1839. Charles Hewett and William Colton hailed from Devonshire, England in hope to provide a better life in a new country for their families. A site along Pedler Creek in the heart of the now world acclaimed wine region of McLaren Vale was deemed the most appropriate location to settle. As homage to these trailblazing families, we denote our most premium of wines in their names.

This Shiraz is nothing short of premium, boasting beautifully ripe and concentrated fruits, incredibly smooth oak influence, supple tannins and a long lasting finish to savour. Held before being released, this wine also has a cellaring potential of up to 30 years.
