Experience the heart and soul of McLaren Vale by staying at the historic Daringa House and Colton Cottage the first settlement home in McLaren Vale on Oxenberry farm. Built in 1840 by the first settlers William Colton and Charles Hewitt. This modest farmers dwelling has stood the test of time and has been lovingly restored to its former glory for luxury accommodation in an idyllic location surrounded by period gardens, the Pedler Creek wetlands, vineyards and conveniently situated next to the Oxenberry winery, Cellar Door, Café and function facility. The path to the bottom of your private garden will take you right onto the Shiraz trail where you can leisurely walk to many parts of the region and township. Or just enjoy your views of the abundant wildlife on the wetlands and the world go by on the Shiraz trail sipping a complimentary glass of Oxenberry wine from your private verandah. E-Bikes available to hire on-site.

Historic Daringa House B&B



Daringa House incorporates 2 double bedrooms with luxury appointed bathroom ensuites, living room with wood fireplace, kitchen and laundry facilities. Fully air-conditioned, internet, Netflix and smart TV’s. Private verandah, lawns and gardens. Breakfast included daily at Oxenberry café from 10 am mon – fri / sat – sun 9am

Breakfast provisions will be provided for Public Holiday stays

Min 2 night stay. (Non smoking)

Please note for bookings of 1 or 2 people – there is a surcharge of $100 for the use of the second bedroom (please discuss with us when you arrive to arrange payment if you wish to use this room).
