Oxenberry Farm Winery’s recognition as Luxury Guest House of the Year at the 2023 Travel & Hospitality Awards is a testament to our commitment to providing guests with an exceptional and immersive wine-country experience.
Our award-winning pride and joy, the luxury Daringa House was the first settlement home in McLaren Vale on Oxenberry farm. Built in 1840 by the first settlers William Colton and Charles Hewitt. This modest farmer’s dwelling has stood the test of time and has been lovingly restored to its former glory for luxury accommodation.
Luxury & Location Excellence
Daringa epitomizes the fusion of modern comfort and rustic charm, offering guests a beautiful sanctuary amidst the enchanting landscapes of McLaren Vale. The cottage sits in an idyllic location surrounded by period gardens, the Pedler Creek wetlands, and vineyards and is conveniently situated next to the Oxenberry winery, Cellar Door, Restaurant, and function facility.
Boasting 2 large rooms, both with queen beds and ensuites (with clawfoot baths!), a lounge room with an open fireplace for those winter months, stunning kitchen and dining area.
Guests can enjoy a beautiful outside area overlooking the path to the bottom of your private garden, which will take you right onto the Shiraz trail where you can leisurely walk to many parts of the region and township. Or simply enjoy your views of the abundant wildlife on the wetlands and the world go by on the Shiraz trail whilst sipping a complimentary glass of Oxenberry wine!
To top it all off, guests can wake up each morning and head down to the restaurant for a delicious breakfast!
